REACH - The art of relentlessly pursuing a divine assigned goal or objective beyond expectations.

 

INTRODUCTION

 

 I decided to write this book after meeting with another person who has the desire to start a business. You see, over the past twenty years of my life, I’ve encountered, partnered or assisted several individuals in starting a business. One owner of a business went on to make millions of dollars, while some seem to fizzle for lack of pursuit. Others are well on their way to financial independence. The one constant in all the businesses involved is me. I played the part of the coach and or provided the sweat equity to launch the venture. I want to tell you that my insanity involved doing this for free in all but one instance. However, had I not volunteered to help others, I wouldn’t have the skills necessary to write, publish or sell this book. Romans 8:28 states, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” The other constant in all the business involved is that the vision was not my dream or passion. I concluded from this; I cannot be the “driving force” of another’s dream. I can only provide encouragement and assistance. The rest is up to the person with the vision to start the business. Of course, I can’t guarantee the success of any business. I simply want to encourage my fellow business owners to keep reaching towards their dream.

 

I’ve been told on numerous occasions that I should become a business coach or start a consultant firm that empowers the average persons with little money and no idea on how to start a business to become successful entrepreneurs. This person or persons in need of my services only have the dream of offering a product or service. They often lack the skills to manage the day to day operations and have no idea what to do beyond registering their business with the state and federal government and creating a website.

 

This is the beginning of “REACH”.
